GH Spoilers: Sasha Isn’t Robert’s Daughter, But Does That Mean Holly Is Lying?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is convinced that Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) must be lying to her about her parentage.

Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) can’t be her father, or that means Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is her first cousin. Can we say ick?

Disgusted by the thought of it, but also heartbroken that it may be true, Sasha was quick to confront the problem head-on and go straight to the real source — Robert himself. Somewhat typical of him, Robert wasn’t shocked by what Sasha had to say.

Now, he’ll put Holly on the spot expecting an explanation that makes it all make sense. She may talk herself in circles trying to explain her reasoning for keeping Sasha a secret, but will any of it matter when the test results confirm Robert and Sasha are not related?

When the test results come back showing that Robert is not Sasha’s father, she’s bound to be relieved.

Explaining all of this to Cody will seem a lot easier on the other end of the ordeal, though he may come to question why she didn’t immediately tell him what she was going through with her mother.

Not wanting to burden him with the disgust and distress she was going through, she probably felt it was best to not alarm him until there was something to actually be alarmed by.

But Robert not being Sasha’s father will only leave the question open-ended about who is. She would never want to go through a situation like this again.

Sasha is bound to be even more upset with Holly when the test results provide definitive proof that she’s not Robert’s daughter.

It’s unlikely that she will believe her mom when Holly insists that she doesn’t know how that is possible, or that Robert is the only possibility she ever entertained.

Will Sasha be convinced that her mom had good intentions in this one instance, even if she hasn’t so many other times over the years?

She’s probably going to be quite upset that Holly rushed to set her hair on fire with this news when it wasn’t correct. Should Holly have confirmed it first?

Robert, on the other hand, could be a bit gentler in his handling of Holly, but isn’t he always?

While Sasha likely has every right to judge her mother on the merits of her having been a poor parent, Robert hasn’t seen that side of Holly — though he’s not always seen good sides of her either.

Still, his affection for her stems back a long way, and he may be inclined to forgive her and even help her figure out who Sasha’s real father might be. Does Holly have any idea?
