Opening up to Cody Bell (Josh Swickard) was all that Sasha could do. She was going to burst if she didn’t confide in someone about what she saw, but it became clear pretty quickly that Cody just doesn’t have the bandwidth to care about this scandal the way that Sasha does.
Besides, he doesn’t really know the Quartermaine clan the way she does either, and he doesn’t have the emotional ties to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) that go way back like they do for his girlfriend.
Rumor has it Sasha will soon find Cody confiding in Cody wasn’t enough to stem her anxiety, and that’ll leave her opening up to someone else. Will she come to regret that?
Cody doesn’t mean to be insensitive to what Sasha is going through right now, but he’s enduring a bit of his own rough patch having just come out to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) as his son.
While Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) try to pull him back into the family unit, Mac is going to continue to push him away for some time.
This is likely to leave Cody feeling diminished and unwanted. The more that Sasha hyperfocuses on poor Michael — her ex, it could leave Cody feeling like Willow’s fiasco is the last thing he wants to hear about.
Sasha is no stranger to confiding in Maxie. They go way back, too, and she knows that she can trust her. That being said, Maxie actually isn’t as big of a fan of gossip these days as she used to be.
While she once would’ve inserted her nose in just about every place it didn’t belong, she’s much more professional these days and focused on keeping her own life on track.
That means she has little time and patience for other people’s problems — especially when they can’t be solved easily.
While it might seem like Sasha could go to Maxie with her concerns, she just may sidestep the middle man — or woman — this time around.
The only purpose in going to Maxie would be because Sasha is concerned not just that Drew and Willow kissed, but that Drew is also messing around with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Instead, Sasha may feel it’s best to be straightforward with Nina and tell her the truth on her own.
While Nina will probably appreciate the heads up, she may not let on to Sasha that she already knows about it. Likewise, it could give her concerns that Sasha may not be the only person who knows.
At the same time, Sasha will clearly feel bad for Michael more so than Willow, and that could end up posing a threat to the happy couple’s marriage. Will Nina stoke that fire — or squash it? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
