GH Spoilers: Sam’s Sleuthing Skills Could Send Sonny To Prison — Will Jason Send Her To Her Grave?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is up to no good as far as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is concerned.

The crime lord was taken aback when his son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), relayed how hard it was to get Sam off his back.

She’s not going to drop this and that’s clear. As long as her mom, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is in jeopardy, Sam will hunt down the real killer like a dog with a bone — even if it’s the most notorious and dangerous person she knows.

Of course, Sam isn’t expecting for a second that Sonny would ever harm a hair on her head. She can’t imagine Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) would allow it either, but stranger things have happened than Jason being forced to kill someone he doesn’t really want to kill. The mother of his child though? That’s reaching.

No matter what, Sonny’s safety and freedom have always been the top priority for Jason. He never falters and won’t breach his loyalty to the mob master he has worked with and been besties with for so long. But he’s never encountered as distressing a situation as he’s about to now.

With Sam’s life literally on the line, Jason may have to make a decision that will change the trajectory of the rest of his life. Being Sonny’s most trust hitman comes with perks, but also some serious negative points. Is killing Sam about to become one of them?

We’ve seen Jason approach the hardest of tasks in the last without so much as an inkling of despair, regret, or pain. Somehow, he can just turn off his feelings and do what needs to be done to keep the boss man in the clear. But doesn’t even Jason have his own limits?

Will he try to negotiate with Sonny? Perhaps taking Sam to an undisclosed location to silence her in captivity is a better move than silencing her permanently? Surely there must be a compromise to be found?
