GH Spoilers: Sam Tells Elizabeth The Truth About Jason, Plan Backfires!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) is on a mission. Now that she knows that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was protecting Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) from Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) and the FBI, she’s furious that Jason would let their son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) believe he was dead just to keep Carly out of prison for a crime she actually committed.

As viewers know, Carly had to take over Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) organization when Sonny was believed dead.

Of course, the situation was a little more complicated than that. Carly only stepped up for Sonny in order to make sure her family wasn’t targeted by the other mob families.

She wasn’t even supposed to attend that meeting, but Jason was on the run with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) at the time. But somehow the FBI managed to obtain a recording Carly asserting herself as head of the Corinthos Organization.

The FBI then used that recording to force Jason to work undercover for them infiltrating the Pikeman Group. If Jason had refused, then Carly was looking at a prison sentence of at least 20 years.

But Sam sees things differently. Throughout Jason and Sam’s relationship, Jason always put Carly and Sonny above everything else.

Sam eventually dumped Jason once and for all when she realized that Jason’s dangerous lifestyle could bring danger to Danny and she didn’t want that for her son.

But even so, Danny mourned his father for two years needlessly because he was alive the whole time. Now that Danny is older, he idolizes his father and that terrifies Sam who is afraid he’s going to get hurt, or worse just be being near his father.

General Hospital Spoilers – Elizabeth Webber Sees Things Differently

But Jason has another teenage son, Jake Webber (Hudson West). Chances are good that Sam will tell Jake’s mother, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) about Jason’s deal with the FBI.

But Elizabeth will likely surprise Sam by siding with Jason. Jason was never raised by Jason, he signed over his rights when Jake was young.

She likely won’t Jason’s sacrifice for Carly as out of the ordinary. Jake is the one who doesn’t want much to do with Jason, even though he recently called his father to help Elizabeth.

Of course, Elizabeth won’t like the fact that Jason let Jake believe he was dead, but he sacrificed himself to help someone else, and Elizabeth knows Jake is old enough to make his own decisions about his father.
