GH Spoilers: Sam Meets A Tragic End Saving Lulu

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the race is on to locate a liver doner for Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan).

The most likely candidate was Lulu’s half-brother Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) since he had been a doner for Lulu once before when she was a baby and needed a bone marrow transplant.

But Nikolas’ is no longer a viable candidate according to the most recent tests of Nikolas’ liver function. That means the search is back to square one.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Best Change For A Viable Liver Donor Is A Sibling

Doctors have informed Laura Collins (Genie Francis) that a full sibling is Lulu’s best chance to find a doner match for a liver transplant. But Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is nowhere to be found at the moment.

Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) have taken off for Africa to locate Lucky and will likely bring him home. But what happens next if Lucky isn’t a match?

He wasn’t a match when Lulu needed a bone marrow transplant all those years ago so it’s quite possible that he’s not a match for a liver transplant either.

GH Spoilers – Port Charles Will Show Up For Lulu Spencer

Many Port Charles residents have already been tested and in the coming weeks that number will likely continue to increase as Lulu’s condition deteriorates. Perhaps a match will come from someone not relation to Lulu at all.

That leads up to an intriguing possibility. As viewers know, Kelly Monaco has been let go from the role of Sam McCall. Not much is known about Sam’s fate except that she will be killed off and her last airdate will be sometime in the fall.

While it’s been assumed that Sam’s death would occur during November sweeps, it could actually happen much soon than that.

Lulu’s ex-husband Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) is now romantically involved with Sam. If Sam were to pass away, that would certainly complicate Dante’s already conflicted feelings about his past with Lulu.

In addition, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is already struggling to deal with issues with her other two daughters. If Sam were to die suddenly, it’s likely to send Alexis spiraling to a very dark place.
