General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) passing was unexpected. While fans were waiting for it to happen, how it unfolded was out of the blue.
Sam donated a portion of her liver to save Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) but was expected to make a full recovery. Sam was healthy, strong, and passed many tests to qualify as Lulu’s donor.

GH fans can’t help but feel as if her demise was organized by someone. An autopsy is sure to reveal some tampering; however, who was behind it all, and why?

Gnral Hospital Spoilers – Suspect #1 – Cyrus Renault

GH spoilers note there’s been a buzz online that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is behind Sam’s passing. There have been hints that he injected digitalis into her IV bag, causing her heart attack.

Cyrus seems like the obvious choice for a suspect, he may have done this to guarantee his niece Lulu reunites with her long-time love Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) when she awakens, as Sam and Dante were a bonefide couple at the time of her death.

Still, as this was leaked to GH viewers on social media, will the soap swerve fans and tweak the storyline for a surprise reveal?

GH Spoilers – Suspect #2 – Lorenzo Alcazar

When Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was being targeted earlier this year, there was social media speculation that soap actor Ted King could reprise his Lorenzo Alcazar role and return to Port Charles.

This storyline was seemingly dropped and forgotten about once Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) officially returned to the canvas. Still, could Lorenza return? Could his role in Sam’s passing be the very thing that re-introduces him to storylines?

After all, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was behind his brother’s, Luis Alcazar (Ted King), passing. Being the one behind her daughter’s demise would certainly offer justice to a past wrongdoing, so many years ago.

Genral Hospital Spoilers – Suspect #3 – Heather Webber

Now that she’s cobalt-free, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) seems like a different person; however, this is the land of soaps, where people can turn at the drop of a hat. Heather was at the hospital during Sam and Lulu’s transplant surgeries last week.

She was there to say goodbye to everyone, but fans can sense that this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Heather. It may take weeks, possibly months, for GH viewers to find out who tampered with Sam’s IV. Could Heather have done it as one last “hooray” in Port Charles?

She had become friends with Alexis in prison, so this would be an odd plot twist, but perhaps something rubbed Heather the wrong way during her time with Ms. Davis at Pentonville.
