GH Spoilers: Sam Investigates Cates’ Murder To Save Her Family!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the murder of FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) is bringing ramifications all around Port Charles.

As viewers know, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) murdered Cates in cold blood at the Quartermaine boat house.

Thanks to the help of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), the crime scene was cleaned up of any evidence that Sonny had been there. In addition, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) gave Sonny an alibi for the time of the murder.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kristina Corinthos-Davis Stole A Gun

Sonny was unaware at the time that his daughter, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi), went to Sonny’s penthouse the same night Cates was murdered and stole another one of Sonny’s guns.

Kristina also drove to the Quartermaine’s that night, although she changed her mind and quickly turned around. Unfortunately, Kristina kept the gun and her mother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) discovered it when she came home.

Worried what Kristina might be planning, Alexis disposed of the gun by throwing it into the river from the foot bridge.

GH Spoilers – Alexis Davis Was Arrested For Murder!

Unfortunately for Alexis, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) saw her dispose of the gun.

Since Sonny had an alibi for the time of the murder, suspicion quickly turned to Alexis, and she was arrested for Cates’ murder.

Alexis has not told the authorities where she got the got the gun or why she threw it into the water in order to protect Kristina.

However, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) is convinced that Kristina murdered Cates and has pointed authorities in her direction in order to clear Alexis.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall To The Rescue!

Alexis’ oldest daughter, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is a private investigator so look for her to investigate Cates’ murder on her own in order to keep both Alexis and Kristina out of jail. The best way to do that is to find the real killer, which is bad news for Sonny.

As Sam’s investigation continues, she may somehow discover Sonny is the true killer. Perhaps she will overhear Sonny confessing the crime to someone.

Rumors persist that Sam will suffer a deadly fate this fall, so perhaps as she is rushing to reveal the real killer to authorities, she will be involved in a terrible accident that claims her life.
