GH Spoilers: Sam And Dante Learn Danny’s In Trouble-Has His Leukemia Returned?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) learn Danny Morgan’s (Asher Antonyzyn) in trouble. He’s in real trouble if his leukemia returned-does GH have any of Julian Jerome’s (William DeVry) bone marrow banked?

General Hospital Spoilers – Danny Morgan Had Leukemia As A Baby

Danny had leukemia as a baby-it was between when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) “died” the first time and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) came to town as Jake Doe.

Jake Webber (Hudson West) was still believed to be dead, and no one in the family was a bone marrow match.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) was in town, but she was trying to keep Julian’s identity secret-he’d been in witness protection as Derek Wells.

Neither Sam nor Julian knew they were father and daughter at that time, and Ava didn’t know either. Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) wasn’t tested but he had no idea he was related either.

GH Spoilers – Maybe More Options For Danny Morgan, Maybe Not?

It seems like Danny’s bone marrow match would be someone on the Jerome side, not the Quartermaines, and Ava’s not able to donate because of her own past health crisis.

Ava had a life-threatening illness which required bone marrow, and Silas Clay (Michael Easton) did a transplant from Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) when she was a baby.

Lucas no longer lives in Port Charles, but he would surely step up to help his nephew if necessary and a worst-case scenario might be a donation from Avery!

There may be other options that weren’t available then-at least it wouldn’t hurt to find out and have more people tested.

Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) wasn’t a match and he’s a Quartermaine, but his father was AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan), Monica Quartermaine’s (Leslie Charleson) son-Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) had a different mother.

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain Could Be Tested

Drew could be tested and probably would step up to do so, considering there’s a chance he could be a match since Danny’s his nephew. Drew’s DNA would be a perfect match to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) since he’s his twin.

The only other Jerome option might be Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker) but she’s in prison, although a full sibling of Julian’s, unlike Ava.

No one would want or expect either Avery or Jake Webber to be tested, since testing bone marrow is a very painful procedure. The first logical step would be for Drew to test, but if he’s not a match then there could be big problems for Danny.
