The famed lawyer was once the District Attorney in Port Chuck, but he left town years ago and hasn’t been seen since.
Although he and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) appear to have a cordial relationship, he and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) certainly do not.
e have to contend with every enemy he’s made in town while he is there helping his daughter pick up the pieces of her broken life? Will he and Alexis be able to part ways again on good terms if this baby’s death pits the two sisters against one another?
There is an argument to be made that if legal discord ensues between Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi), and Ric inserts himself as Molly and TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) legal counsel.
Alexis may feel obligated to defend Kristina against their allegations. Alexis can’t just hang her daughter out to dry, even though it’ll look like she’s choosing sides.
Will insisting that Ric started it by unfairly agreeing to represent their daughter make any difference to Molly and TJ? So, what are the allegations that might rise up against Kristina anyway?
Kristina is currently trying to bounce back from the horrible injuries she sustained in the fall from three stories above into the Metro Court Hotel pool.
Nothing is hurting worse than her heart right now. She’s struggling to accept that she will never see the baby girl she carried in her womb alive.
At the same time, she feels strongly that the baby was her baby. So it must’ve stung a bit when Molly came by to tell her about her trip with TJ to Woodlawn Cemetery. Still, Kristina didn’t insist that it was her place to scout the burial grounds or plan a memorial service.
But if she intends to speak up about them excluding her, TJ and Molly may be pushed to the brink and decide to file suit against Kristina claiming she is liable for the death of the baby due to negligence.
Ultimately, the question of whether Kristina is liable for killing TJ and Molly’s child may come down to proving whose child it is. While Kristina could theoretically be charged with neglect that led to the death of her own child, Molly and TJ can’t file a civil suit against her for that.
Of course, TJ can easily prove he’s the baby’s father by demanding a DNA test, although hospital records will prove the terms of their surrogacy using his sperm donation. Alexis certainly can’t answer this question fairly anymore.
Last week when the baby will still alive in Kristina’s belly, she was clear to set boundaries with her emotional and hormonal daughter by reminding her that TJ and Molly were the baby’s parents, but Alexis doesn’t have the space or heart to correct Kristina now as she grieves and refers to the baby as her own.
Will Alexis and Ric be able to see eye to eye to help keep their daughters’ relationship intact, or will they all rip each other to shreds in court? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
