GH Spoilers: Ric’s Decision To Help Ava May Only Earn Him Molly’s Trust

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease Ric Lansing (Rick Herbst) hesitated to take Ava Jerome (Maura West) on as a client, but he just couldn’t resist how much fun he would have smearing his half-brother and nemesis, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), in court.

General Hospital Spoilers —Will Ric Lansing Lose His Daughter?

Taking Sonny down has been a goal for Ric as long as he can remember, and he just may be willing to take the risk of losing his daughter, Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos), in the process. His last meeting with her at the Metro Court left him in a better position with her than he was before though.

Letting her know Ava reneged on her statement about Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) attacking her only catapulted Molly into action though.

She rushed to tell the police what she thought was the truth about her sister, and she may have her dad to thank for what comes next. Will that be a good reflection on their relationship, or otherwise, though?

GH Spoilers — Like Father, Like Daughter

Sonny hit the nail on the head when he pegged Ri as an absent father. For someone who claims Molly means so much to him, he sure has had an odd way of showing it over the years.

Regardless, Molly is open to her dad’s arms and way of thinking more than ever before right now. She’s angry and wants revenge, even though she’ll couch it as justice.

She wants to see Kristina pay for a crime she’s not even sure she committed. She wants someone to be accountable for her pain, even if the shoe doesn’t fit. Sound familiar?

General Hospital Spoilers —  Ric Lansing Could Manipulate This To His Advantage

There is no one Molly is angrier with right now than Kristina, but she’s not thrilled with Sonny either — and it’s likely that will worsen soon.

When Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) gets a chance to bend Molly’s ear about her suspicions of Sonny killing Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington), all bets will be off.

If Molly accepts Sam’s version of events, she may take it to mean Kristina knows Sonny killed Cates and is protecting him even if it means throwing their mother under the bus. Ric could milk this opportunity by hitting two birds with one stone.

Representing Ava in both her criminal and custody cases means he’s going up against both Kristina and Sonny. Would Molly relish anything more?

GH Spoilers — Ava Jerome Has Doubts

The one thing Ric might not see coming is that Sonny has managed to plant some seeds of doubt in Ava’s mind. Nina may have brought Ric to her, but Ava knows all about his history with just about everyone in town.

She may not have the cleanest record herself, but she’s not about to get screwed over by her own lawyer. Will Ric’s agenda to covet his daughter and take down his brother become so important to him that it muddies his representation of her?
