We haven’t seen Ric since 2016; so it’s high time that this crime-fighting nuisance made his way back to town to reconnect. But who will he be meeting up with for coffee, and who will he dodge like the plague?
We know there has never been anything but bad blood between Ric and his half-brother, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
We expect that hasn’t changed, but it’s nice that Ric and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) were able to make amends before he high-tailed it out of town last time.
They’re going to need to pull together as a family unit soon when their daughters are up in arms in a full-blown war against one another.
Will Alexis be able to remain a neutral party with Ric in town insisting she bend to his will? Will we see them both go toe-to-toe in the courtroom? Now that would be something!
Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) and Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) just made up.
They’re trying to find their way back to a normal sense of sisterhood after really leveling with each other and throwing the kind of insults that neither of them are likely to forget anytime soon.
I can’t be the only one who remembers Kristina overtly stating maybe she and Alison ‘Blaze’ Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) would be better parents than Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) would be.
With Kristina due to give birth this month, it’s likely that the next blow-up is just around the corner, and we imagine it’ll center on the same issue: Kristina not relinquishing her parental rights to the baby she supposedly had for her sister.
All this time, Alexis has been careful not to involve herself too deeply in the war she saw waging between her daughters. She warned Molly and TJ that Kristina may not have been the best pick for surrogacy right from the start.
Likewise, she warned Kristina that there was no way she knew what she was getting herself into since she had never been pregnant before and didn’t know what it was like to grow attached to the child she was carrying. It seems both of Alexis’ concerns are coming to fruition now, but whose side will she be on?
When Molly understandably respects her mom’s desire to stay out of it as a litigator, she may call on her dad, Ric, to represent her and TJ in court.
But could this end up leaving Kristina with the short end of the stick, and leaving Alexis feeling bad for her other daughter?
With two attorneys in the family, it stands to reason that both of them may genuinely want to help the cause. But Alexis has promised herself she wouldn’t get involved by even offering legal advice, and she’s already gone out on that limb a bit with Kristina behind closed doors.
Helping her with the paperwork to file for custody was a move that Molly is sure to be livid over when she finds out — and we just know that she will.
With Ric headed home to possibly support Molly through this process of suing her sister for custody of what is biologically only going to be her niece or nephew, will Alexis feel forced to take Kristina’s side to level the playing field?
Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out if we’ll see Alexis and Ric going head to head in a legal battle soon.
