General Hospital Spoilers – Lucas Jones Leaves Port Charles

According to the General Hospital spoilers, Lucas left Port Charles and never looked back. He moved out of town. However, fans want to know why he left. This question was brought up on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards.

Lucas was the son of parents Cheryl Stansbury (Jennifer Anglin) and Julian Jerome (William deVry). He was in the middle of a custody dispute over his birth.

Bobbie Spencer purchased a baby on the black market. She confessed and returned Lucas to Cheryl, who assumed her baby passed away in a car accident.

As an adult, Lucas repeated his past. He almost died from it. GH fans were happy when Lucas narrowly escaped death last year.

According to the General Hospital spoilers, he ended up in a medically-induced coma after a car accident. His memories of the incident returned and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) fessed up to their baby swap.

This was eerily similar to Bobbie’s storyline. This news broke Lucas’s heart since his husband betrayed him.

He eventually left Port Charles after he tried to throw himself into his work, but couldn’t get over what happened. Brad eventually ended up in prison for the baby swap. Lucas later resurfaced in January 2024.

GH Spoilers – Lucas Jones Returns

According to the General Hospital spoilers, Lucas made his return to Port Charles. He returned for Bobbie’s funeral. The fan-favorite surprised the viewers, who missed him. However, other fans wanted more characters.

The user dimitridimera posted on the SoapCentral.com Message Boards: “Disappointed NO ONE came for Bobbie’s funeral outside of current cast (and Lucas).” Other GH fans shared their thoughts in the thread.

One fan wrote: “Here is what I think. I think all those characters and many more attended JZ’s actual memorial. As far as doing cameos on GH that involved business, agents, and other obstacles, including interpersonal relationships with the actors and the parent company.”

Another user commented: “Noah, Valerie, Lesley, and Lucky I can understand. But a lot of these people you named I don’t think had a strong enough connection with Bobbie or knew her well to be at her funeral.”

The General Hospital spoilers suggest the writers wanted to keep Bobbie’s funeral intimate with her family and those who knew her best.
