As the old saying goes, prison can change a man, and after being beaten close to death, it’s clear that being on the “inside” affected him more than he’s letting on. Are fans seeing the evolution of a “dark” Drew Cain emerging?

General Hospital Spoilers – He’s Just Not The Same

GH spoilers suggest that Drew has made it crystal clear that he’s not going to “be nice” and “keep the peace” with the Quartermaine family (or anyone for that matter) who crosses him.

During a recent episode, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) noted that Drew seemed different, and he outright told her that he’s ready to call the shots, take matters into his own hands, and won’t be just “going with the flow”.

He’s targeting Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), and he’s had some outbursts. Still, probably the biggest red flag from Drew’s new “personality” is how he wants to ship Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) off to boarding school.

This will not only cause him to clash with Scout’s mom, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco/Lindsay Hartley), but it may also affect his relationship with Carly, who is likely to side with Sam on this one.

GH Spoilers – Can Drew Cain Find A Happy Medium?

When Drew decided to throw himself under the bus for Carly during the SEC fallout, many fans raised their eyebrows.

Sure, he’s always been nice, sweet, and always thinking of others, but jeopardizing his freedom, and time with his daughter Scout, was ridiculous.

In fact, Drew’s been a bit of a doormat during his relationship with Carly. She outright lied to him about Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) being Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) daughter and she faced ZERO repercussions with him.

However, from the sounds of it, GH spoilers hint that Drew’s new outlook on life will only get darker and darker, which will not only affect his relationship with the Qs, other family members, and loved ones but could also mark the beginning of the end for the Darly relationship.
