GH Spoilers: Portia Keeps Brad’s Blackmail Secret From Curtis

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) has every reason to be concerned now that Heather Webber (Alley Mills) has been released from Pentonville after having her prison sentence vacated due to her recently revealed diagnosis of cobalt poisoning.

A judge ruled that Heather’s diagnosis was at least partially responsible to the murders she committed under the alias of “The Hook”.

Since the Hook was targeting their daughter Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) friends and supporters, the worried parents are understandably concerned.

Now that Heather is free, Curtis immediately sprang into action. He reached out to Heather’s son Steven Webber (Scott Reeves) and basically offered to help bankroll Scott and Heather’s new lives, far away from Port Charles.

Steven was reluctant to consider Curtis’ offer, but Curtis made it clear that if Steven didn’t agree to his terns, that he would find a much more permanent way to end the threat of Heather in a more permanent way.

Not wanting to see his mother face a violent end, Steven eventually agreed. Heather has agreed to leave with Steven, but it remains to be seen if she actually leaves.

GH Spoilers – Portia Robinson Tried To Keep Heather Webber In Prison

Heather’s departure certainly comes as a relief to Portia. Her earlier attempt to keep Heather out of prison didn’t quite work as she planned. Heather has her blood work tested at General Hospital to test her cobalt levels.

Portia altered the results to show that the levels of cobalt in Heather’s blood hadn’t significantly changed since her faulty hip was replaced. But Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) had Heather’s blood tested at several other locations which all showed quite different results.

Brad Cooper (Perry Shen) was asked to look into why General Hospital’s results were so different from all the other labs.

It also took a minimal amount of research for Brad to discover what Portia had done. He immediately decided to blackmail Portia.

He didn’t ask Portia for money, but rather that she should give him a good review and stop trying to have him fired.

Portia had no choice but to agree. Even though Portia confessed to Curtis what she did, she hasn’t revealed Brad’s blackmail.

Portia probably thinks she can handle Brad herself, he’s not going to just go away. Curtis won’t appreciate his wife keeping such an important secret from him once again.
