Rescuing him from getting beat up by thugs bonded these two, and in the aftermath of it all, John even gave Carly his digits.

A romance is in the cards for Ms. Spencer and Mr. Cates, but how long can all this last, considering John’s role in keeping Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) away from Port Charles while everyone thought he was dead?

When Carly realizes that she was the person Jason protected, and that John was holding her indictment charges over Stone Cold’s head to use him, she’ll not only feel betrayed, but she’ll also feel played.

Most everyone in Port Charles knows how close Jarly is, as both of them place each other first, despite only being “friends”.

Once everything is revealed, newcomer John will get a nice taste of why Jason agreed to the FBI’s deal, as Carly tosses him to the curb. Her loyalty will always belong to Jason.

GH Spoilers – Nina Reees Continues Her Romantic History Of Snagging Carly Spencer’s Rejects

Taking a closer look at Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) romantic patterns in Port Charles ever since she entered a feud with Carly, she seems to have a taste for Ms. Spencer’s exes.

First, it was Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher), then she moved on to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), and more recently, she hooked up with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

It’s hard to say how things will pan out with Nina and Drew, as he’s also been flirting it up with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper); however, there’s also still a chance that things get more serious with Ms. Reeves, as time wears on.

Regardless, once John is dumped by Carly, Nina may also be single, and willing to help him pick up the pieces of his broken heart.

Not only because she may find the FBI agent interesting, but also just to spite Carly and get under her skin.
