GH Spoilers: Nina Presses Alexis To Turn Public Opinion Against Jason

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) has taken over as Publisher of the Invader much to the chagrin of Editor-in-Chief Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). The two of them have already butted heads over the inclusion of a gossip columnist to the paper.

Although it looks like Nina won that particular round, their next battle could be much more personal. As news of Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) spreads across Port Charles, look for sides to be drawn.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos believes that Jason Morgan Shot His Son!

As viewers know, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Jason were once thick as thieves. Jason was Sonny’s right hand man and even filled in for Sonny when the mob boss was unable to perform his duties with the other families involved in the criminal underworld.

Jason and Sonny were distant when Jason disappeared on Cassadine Island and was presumed dead.

Now that Jason is back, there is evidence suggesting that Jason was not only involved in an assassination attempt on Sonny, but also that he shot Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) in cold blood.

GH Spoilers – Nina Corinthos Wants Her Husband Back!

Nina is married to Sonny, but he has asked for a divorce once he discovered that Nina had anonymously tipped off the SEC to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Matheson) crime of insider trading.

Loyalty means everything to Sonny so his response was immediate and swift. Nina is desperate to win Sonny back so look for her to use the tools at her disposal to help Sonny any way she can.

That means she could easily try to turn public opinion against Jason. But she may receive pushback from Alexis.

General Hospital Spoilers – Alexis Davis Is On The Side Of Truth!

Alexis has always been a defender of the underdog. She may have her own issues with Jason, but he is the father of her grandson.

While she would have no problem reporting Jason’s crimes if she was certain he was guilty.

She would certainly oppose a smear campaign, especially is Nina was using the paper as a way to reconcile with her husband.

If Nina pushes the issue, it seems quite possible that Alexis will leave the Invader for good.
