GH Spoilers: Nikolas Cassadine On The Run With Baby Ace-Will Ace Be Older When They Return?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) could be on the run for quite a while. Will Baby Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) be older when they return, and possibly recast?

General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Handed Him Over So Easily

Viewers and others were stunned that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) handed Ace over to his father so easily, after Spencer had years of anger against Nikolas.

It seemed like all was forgiven and understood, and Spencer must have felt Ace would be safer with Nikolas.

After all, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is completely snowed by Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) in Spencer’s eyes, and dangerous with her returned memories.

Spencer must have thought it would have been difficult to bring Ace to Paris with him when he goes with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) for a semester.

It would have been more difficult for Esme to travel to Paris with no trust fund left to hunt them down, so some of it doesn’t make sense.

GH Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine And Spencer Cassadine Don’t Trust Laura Collins?

Laura’s empathy for Esme no doubt stems from the years she was hostage on Cassadine Island, kept there by Helena Cassadine, (Constance Towers) and Stavros Cassadine (Robert Kelker Kelly).

The parallels are easily seen, Laura hostage with a young baby son, Nikolas and Esme hostage most of her pregnancy with Ace, held by Nikolas.

It seems like neither Nikolas or Spencer trust Laura when it comes to Esme and baby Ace-seeing Laura as completely fooled by Esme.

Perhaps Nikolas himself has figured it out, Laura seeing herself as Esme and himself as Stavros and Ace as baby him, although it could be subconscious.

As long as Laura sees Esme as herself long ago with baby Nikolas, then she can never see the truth about what Esme is.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sooner Or Later?

There’s a possibility that Nikolas may return with Ace sooner rather than later, and he may be a little older but probably closer to a few months than a few years.

It wouldn’t be easy to go on the run as a fugitive with a year old child, there are diapers and baby food needs to consider.

No doubt Ace will miss his mommy and brother and grandma and grandpa and cry for them eventually, even though he took to Nikolas right away.

There’s a distinct possibility Nikolas could show up in Paris with Ace while Spencer and Trina are there. There’ll be a whole semester to figure out what their next steps are to protect Ace from Esme!
