In the wake of the child’s death, her fury has led her to plead with her dad — Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) — to end Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) reign of terror once and for all.
While he and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) may have clashed for a moment, it was clear Sonny had no intention of taking action against Ava in Kristina’s name. Of course, that doesn’t mean it won’t end up that way. Kristina is teetering on the brink of a breakdown.
So when Natalia Ramirez’s (Eva LaRue) complaints and demands are leveled directly at Kristina, it could push her right over the edge at this critical time and leave her in harm’s way — forcing Sonny to make a difficult and life-changing decision.
Kristina already feels like the world has ripped from underneath her feet. The pain she is feeling is a level no one should ever have to imagine, much less endure.
While she has two siblings — Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) — in her corner who know just how she feels, as well as a father and sister-in-law who have lost a child, no amount of commiserating is going to heal the ache of not having this baby in her belly or her arms. Kristina is too mentally and emotionally fragile right now to handle much more.
That’s why it’s in such poor form that Natalia would dare to approach her — and much less make this moment about her issues with her relationship with Alison ‘Blaze’ Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez).
Asking Kristina to give up the one person she has left that she loves so deeply is just asking too much at such a vulnerable time.
Kristina can’t seem to focus on anything but how much rage she has at Ava right now. But Natalia sure is going to give her a run for her money in that department.
As Kristina’s fury continues to compound, she may see no way out of the hate and pain she is feeling but to take matters into her own hands and take Ava out — permanently.
Will killing the woman who she feels is responsible for killing her child leave Kristina feeling any better, or will it scar her soul forever knowing what she’s done? That’ll be the least of her problems at the outset.
With Ava dead — yes, that’s possible — everyone will be pointing fingers. Some may automatically assume it was Sonny whodunnit, especially Alexis.
But when it becomes clear to him that Kristina let her anger get the best of her and killed Ava, Sonny will feel responsible in some way and obligated to take the fall for his grieving little girl.
Although Kristina could probably get off on a temporary insanity plea, Sonny won’t want his daughter to have to contend with any more regret or punishment for her poor choices than she already will when she calms down and realizes she killed her little sister’s mother.
Will Sonny finally go down for murder — albeit one he didn’t commit? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
