General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, September 30 tease puzzling situations, guilt and regret, and cautious questions.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is puzzled, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) feels guilty, and Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) cautiously asks questions.

General Hospital Spoilers: Puzzling Situations

Curtis is talking to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and it seems they have a puzzling situation. He asks Nina what exactly is happening, and she doesn’t seem to have answers.

They could be discussing some business endeavors, but it’s more likely they’re discussing Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) and his political campaign and plans.

Drew and Curtis are close friends, and so are Curtis and Nina, so a discussion between them about Drew wouldn’t be unusual.

But it seems that the death of Congressman Larry McConkey (Sam McMurray) changed the campaign game-and Nina’s been helping manage the campaign.

GH Spoilers: Elizabeth Baldwin Opens Up To Terry Randolph

In Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) kitchen, she opens up to her old friend Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).

Elizabeth answered the phone at the nurses’ desk at work, and Lucky was on the other end. Terry wants to know if any part of Lucky being back is a good thing for Elizabeth.

For sure, it might be a very good thing for their patient, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins)  if Lucky can donate-but there’s also Aiden Spencer (Tristan Riggs) to consider.

Lucky hadn’t kept in touch with his family on a regular basis for several years, and it’s different than Jake Webber’s (Hudson West) situation-Lucky wasn’t presumed dead!

General Hospital Spoilers: Guilt And Regret

In the meantime, Lucky is at Lulu’s bedside talking to her even though she is still comatose-he’s eaten up with guilt and regret.

He tells her he could have stopped all this from happening-which may be true, had he still been a policeman with the PCPD.

Perhaps he could have stopped Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and Julian Jerome (William DeVry) in their tracks, and the bombing of the Floating Rib never happened.

But he shouldn’t be too hard on himself, because Lulu didn’t give anyone a clue that she was having problems or severe headaches after being injured.

She collapsed right in front of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) who caught her!

GH Spoilers: Cautious Questions

As Brennan briefs Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) on the rescue operation, he has some cautious questions.

He asks Robert how worried he should be about Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). Holly was instrumental in getting

Lucky, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) to the WSB plane that they came back home in.

But Holly has some con woman ways, which Robert knows all about and can fill Jack in on watching her. It seems like where Holly goes, frequently, trouble follows!

General Hospital Spoilers: Mac Scorpio Makes His Feelings Clear

In the meantime, Holly is paying a visit to Robert’s younger brother Mac Scorpio (John J. York) who tells her she’s right-he doesn’t believe her!

If Holly is trying to convince Mac that Port Charles has nothing to fear from her hanging around, he’s probably right not to believe her.

Thanks to Holly’s stealing Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) diamonds, he and his henchmen will eventually show up in town, and they may be a bigger threat than the mob.

Holly may believe Sidwell would have no way to know where she was headed. But she doesn’t know about his henchman who tried to kill Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) in his hospital room!

GH Spoilers: Anna Devane Catches Up

Elsewhere, Anna catches up with Felicia Scorpio, (Kristina Wagner) filling her in on the details of the rescue mission.

She tells her she thinks this mission was more than she expected, for one thing she sure didn’t expect to run into Holly!

Even though Holly was conning Sidwell until she could steal his diamonds, she did come through in the end with the vehicle to get them to the plane. They all had more than their fair share of much too close calls and barely escaped with their lives.

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Spencer Wants Answers

Now that Jason and the rest are safely in Port Charles-at least safe for the moment, until Sidwell and his gang catch up to Holly-Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) wants answers.

She’ll want to know every gory detail of their rescue mission from Jason, and also want to make sure no more trouble is coming! Of course, no one can tell the future, and no one knows Holly smuggled diamonds in her purse!

All Jason can tell her is that they’re safe now but he will tell her about Holly and her part in their rescue. Carly tells Jason that’s a name she didn’t expect to hear!
