General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, March 18 tease diagnosing a misdiagnosis, crossing a line, and asking for an advocate.
Coming Up On General Hospital
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) advises someone’s correct diagnosis, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is told he’s crossed a line, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) asks for an advocate.
Diagnosing A Misdiagnosis
Kevin continues to talk to Marshall and Curtis Ashford (Robert Gossett, Donnell Turner) and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) in his office at GH.
They were discussing the doctor who misdiagnosed Marshall with schizophrenia, and Kevin knew something about him, even though he recently died-apparently Dr. Paul Braddock (uncast) was infamous. He had just offered up his opinion, knowing of the reasons Braddock was infamous.
He told Marshall and the rest his guess for the misdiagnosis was because he was young, angry, poor and black. Marshall likely diagnoses the reason for the misdiagnosis as racism.
Diane Miller Continues Encouraging Alexis Davis
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) continues encouraging Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) at the Invader office.
She thinks she can overturn Alexis’ disbarment decision so she can practice law again and return to being Diane’s law partner.
Diane apparently is talking about something Alexis doesn’t consider relevant as she gestures with her hands wildly.
She asks how does any of this have to do with her? Diane is likely stating her reasons she thinks she can get the decision overturned.

Comforting A Friend Who Can’t Be Comforted
At the Quartermaine mansion, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) are sitting on a couch, Lois trying to comfort her friend, who can’t be comforted.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is still comatose, and Olivia doesn’t know whether to be relieved or terrified, she may be relieved he’s alive but terrified he might die.
His condition has remained critical but stable, but the longer someone doesn’t come to after anesthesia has worn off, the less likely they are to wake up.
It’s been at least two days now since Dante was found at the docks and brought into the hospital and operated on.

He had coded at the site, but Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) had given CPR and got him back.
Crossing A Line
After Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) told Josslyn that she saw Dex come out of Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) room at GH disguised as an orderly, Joss demands answers.
This was when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had ordered Dex to kill Cyrus, but then changed his mind and called off the hit.
Cyrus was in the hospital and Josslyn can’t fathom the act; it’s not a case of self-defense or protection. Joss is livid as she tells him she never thought that he would cross that line!

General Hospital Spoilers: Asking For An Advocate
At the art gallery, Nina is asking Ava Jerome (Maura West) to advocate for her, and she seems rather insistent.
It sounds like once again she’s trying to get someone to find out what is going on with Sonny, and no one will tell her.
She knows that Ava and Avery Corinthos-Jerome (Ava and Grace Scarola) are still staying with Sonny for safety’s sake.
Nina won’t give up on her husband even though she knows that he’s given up on her. However, for Ava, discussions about Sonny with Nina are becoming more and more awkward!

Sonny Corinthos Sits Vigil
In the meantime, Sonny continues to sit vigil with Dante in his hospital room, and it looks like maybe he’ll switch off with another member of the family.
He looks up at someone and says “guess this is it for me?” as he’s been there most of the night already.
Dante is taking way too long to wake up, as Olivia noted to Lois, and the longer he’s unconscious the scarier things get.
What if, like his ex-wife and Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Francis Carr) mother Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) he never wakes up-she’s been comatose for over two years already.
