Portia Tries To Cheer Liz

Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) looks glum at work and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) tries to cheer her.

She tells Elizabeth maybe she has something that will put a smile on her face, although it’s going to take a lot to cheer Elizabeth up.

Liz tried her best to try to stay a friend to Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) but he unfairly accused her and sent her away.

She’s still worried about what will happen to her niece Violet Finn (Jophielle Love). No one seems to be able to get through to her dad.

Howdy Neighbor

It looks like there’s a party going on that much of Port Charles is attending, and Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is no exception.

He tells someone excitedly here’s hoping we are going to be neighbors, as he’s getting acquainted with more in Port Charles. Gio lives in the Quartermaine mansion, so who might he be talking to? There’s the gatehouse, the apartment over the garage and the apartment in the stables!

Cody Bell Gets Food For Thought

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) gets food for thought as Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) tells him he wouldn’t trade anything for it. It sounds like Chase is talking about being married, and maybe Cody’s finally getting serious about Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).

We know Cody isn’t contemplating joining the police force, besides he’d be talking to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) if he was.

Cody does look very thoughtful as Chase is extolling praises, so maybe a proposal is coming soon. What will Sasha say, yes, or no?

Michael’s Worries

Elsewhere at the party, Michael has some minor worries as he teasingly asks Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) how much trouble he’s in.

Whatever it is, he knows what he’s done that might be problematic-but Willow just smiles at his question.

Whatever this party’s about it looks like most people are having lots of fun-it could be Drew Cain-changing-to-Quartermaine’s (Cameron Mathison) announcement party. He’s officially announcing his intention to run for Congressman Larry McConkey’s (Sam McMurray) seat.

Carly’s Suspicious

In the meantime, Carly’s suspicious as she reams out Drew about doing anything for “that woman”.

Carly must mean Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who was responsible for Drew meeting the congressman in the first place. McConkey and her father had been friends and she knows him from way back before her coma happened.

Carly’s definitely got a bone to pick with Drew and is back to being as protective of him as she is of Jason! Apparently the rivalry’s back on between Carly and Nina, after a brief hiatus!

Nina Catches Up With Her Ex Fake Daughter

In the meantime, Nina’s catching up with her ex fake daughter as she talks to Sasha and tells her the latest news.

Nina tells Sasha she’s chalking all of this up as a big fat win, obviously talking about Drew’s political run announcement.  She truly was the person who started this ball rolling since she was the one who introduced Drew and McConkey. Sasha looks happy for her ex fake birth  mother!

Alexis’ Confrontation

Alexis has gone to pay Finn a visit at his apartment as his sponsor, yes, but more as his friend.

She’s trying to help him deal with his loss in a more constructive manner, but he lashes out at her! He yells in her face that his loss is his to deal with in his own way!

Previously, Chase had paid her a visit advising her of what has really been going on with his brother. Alexis isn’t fazed by Finn’s antagonism, but patiently lets him vent.
