Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has news, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) wise counsel, and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) reels at what she discovers!

General Hospital Spoilers: Drew’s News

Drew shares his good news with close friend Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Curtis tells him this is just the right time to do this.

Without a doubt, Drew is talking about his running for incumbent Congressman Larry McConkey’s (Sam McMurray) seat.

Old friend Curtis will always encourage his buddy, even if it leaves him heading up a new project at Aurora if Drew wins-of course, the election is a while away.

Drew has had nothing but encouragement from his friends and family to pursue this political career. So indeed, now is just the right time to start the wheels rolling!

Opening Up

In the meantime, Willow and Michael Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen, Chad Duell) are having lunch and talking about family things.

After Willow’s pleasant experience with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) at the pool, she’s all in for new starts.

Granted, Michael looks a bit worried as well as confused when Willow pleads her case. She tells him if Drew can start fresh with Nina, then maybe she can too.

Nina’s Change Of Heart

Elsewhere, Nina has her own change of heart as she talks to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms); she asks, “this is the price to pay for dancing with the devil?”

It sounds like she’s referring to her ex-husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and along with many others, her blinders coming off.

There aren’t a whole lot of other devils for Nina to be talking about, her “dance” with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) having been before Christmas.

There isn’t a lot of denial left that she can wallow in. She needs to face it, she’s better off without Sonny!

Tracy’s Wise Counsel

 At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy delivers wise counsel to Harrison and Brook Lynn Chase (Josh Swickard, Amanda Setton).

Tracy has known Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) for a long time, and she warns them she thinks they need to be prepared for him to disappoint them.

They had just been discussing ways to protect Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) from her rapidly spiraling father, including taking her on their yet to be taken honeymoon. But they decided that may not work since neither Finn nor Violet may want that.

Elizabeth Baldwin Reels

Elizabeth Baldwin reels after walking in on a drunken Finn making out with Barb (Devon Ogden) on the couch. An entire large bottle of vodka was gone on the coffee table after Jake Webber (Hudson West) came to the hospital to warn her what he’d seen.

If looks could kill, Finn would have been a goner right then and there-he’s crying as he begs her to give him a chance to explain.

It looks like Liz is fresh out of forgiveness and Finn’s fresh out of excuses. But it only gets worse from there!

GH Spoilers: Finn Doesn’t Want This Showdown

Finn doesn’t want this showdown, after unbeknownst to Liz, Jake called his dad to help his mom! Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) comes storming into Finn’s apartment and warns Finn to let go of her!

Assumptions would be he’s talking about Liz, since Barb probably exited when Liz came in the room. Finn doesn’t want this showdown with Jason, so he’d do well to vamoose and never come back!
