Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is in an awkward position, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) makes angry accusations, and it looks like Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) plan backfired!
Brook Lynn Quartermaine-Chase (Amanda Setton) has news for Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
It sounds like she’s updating them on the new record label Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) offered to finance, if Brook Lynn would run it.
It sounds like she indeed decided to run it although there were some restrictions-she didn’t want Blaze’s overbearing controller of a mother to interfere.
Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva LaRue) didn’t like it but it was take it or leave it. Now, Brook Lynn tells Blaze and Kristina, “after careful consideration they said…” as they wait expectantly for her to finish.
Anna just helped Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) escape and leave the country with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and now Laura Collins (Genie Francis) puts her in an awkward position.

Laura seeks out Anna to see if she knows some way to get in touch with Valentin-possibly she’s looking for Charlotte?
If Anna stuck to her guns, she doesn’t know how to contact Valentin because after she and Charlotte made amends, and Valentin confessed, she sent them on their way.
Anna is in an awkward position indeed, she can’t divulge her part in his escape without incriminating herself!
Now Carly is making angry accusations, wanting to know if someone is helping John Cates (Adam Harrington) go after Sonny!
It looks like she may be in Anna’s office, so Anna is definitely not having the best day.
After talking things over with Jason on the footbridge, they came to the conclusion Cates is after one thing, and that’s Sonny!

It would seem Cates’ threats to turn Carly into the SEC were simply a means to an end. And that end indeed was the takedown of Sonny-and it sounds personal!
It indeed looks like Jason’s plan has backfired because after giving Cates the satellite phone he got from Anna, incriminating Valentin as the new head of Pikeman, Cates’ deal is off.
That was supposed to end the threat to Carly and relieve Jason of his informant duties. Cates is angry and informs Jason his days as his informant are far from over, and Jason doesn’t look happy.
Cates is just proving his true motives and they have nothing to do with his FBI duties-it’s pure revenge against Sonny for things that took place many years ago.

Elsewhere, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) boils over in anger as he argues with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) and Sonny after Sonny made a request of Michael.
It looks like things will get fierce, since Diane will issue a warning-Michael’s just over the top with rage! He shouts at Sonny as Diane looks taken aback- “give me just one reason to stay, just give me one reason”!
Sonny seems calm and looks taken aback himself, not understanding why Michael’s so mad! Why does Michael have a bee in his bonnet to begin with?
