GH Spoilers Monday, January 8: Family Discussions, Spilling Tea, Self-Defensive Maneuvers

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, January 8 tease family discussions, spilling the tea, and self-defensive maneuvers.

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) has a family discussion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) spills the tea, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) employs self-defensive maneuvers.

General Hospital Spoilers – Family Discussions

Cody’s at the Deception Cosmetics office when Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) tells him she ran a DNA test on him behind his back.

Cody tells Felicia that deception must run in the family, but she had to find out if he was Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) son or not.

Felicia had collected the DNA for the test off of his hairbrush at the Home and Heart set where he and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) were there to promote Deception’s products.

Cody didn’t want to admit he lied about the previous match and Felicia just couldn’t let it go.

Will he still be able to go through with his plan to buy the estate he grew up on, which belonged to Leopold Taub (Chip Lucia)?

GH Spoilers – Maxie Jones Disapproves

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) obviously disapproves of her mother’s methods, as she asks how could she do that?

They’ll continue to support each other over Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) death but for now she goes on record about her mom’s sneaky trick with Cody’s DNA.

What would Mac think of that-he’s not even there to express an opinion, he’s far away-and this wasn’t private investigation work for a case, this was for personal knowledge. What’s even worse,

Felicia isn’t a private investigator anymore, she’s a patient advocate at the hospital! The truth may be out, but couldn’t it have waited until Mac returned?

General Hospital Spoilers – Spilling The Tea

Elsewhere, Tracy is spilling the tea about Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) plan to Lucy’s boyfriend, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight).

She insinuates that with those two together-nothing good’s going to come of that, and she may insinuate Lucy’s fooling around with Scott behind Martin’s back!

Tracy will also spill the tea about their plot to her granddaughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

Scott may think he’s taking Tracy for a ride but it’ll really be the other way around. She might go along with it only to expose the plot and the deception.

GH Spoilers – Emotional Discussions

In the meantime, Scott and Lucy are having an emotional discussion, and it might be about Bobbie and their memories of her.

Lucy’s in tears as she promises Scotty, swearing something will never leave this table. It doesn’t seem like they’re discussing their scheme involving Scotty sweeping Tracy off her feet and then taking everything she’s got.

Tracy didn’t seem upset as she was trashing the two of them to Martin, she obviously doesn’t know about Bobbie’s death.

General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Corinthos’ Discussion

Even though Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was quite upset with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) duplicity, that was before anyone knew his grandmother had died.

Willow, working now as a nurse is obviously affected, and she’s probably talking about Bobbie’s memorial service.

She tells Michael she thinks that’s something they should do together-on the other hand, it might be about telling their children they’re breaking up!

She still doesn’t look very happy and as for Michael, he looks a little grim. This was a big breach of Willow’s trust and it may be too big to resolve.

GH Spoilers – Carly Spencer And Elizabeth Baldwin Bond

Elsewhere, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) bond over Bobbie’s memory.

Carly says that’s exactly what she needed. Elizabeth, as the current head nurse of GH has been in Port Charles since she was sixteen.

She likely has put together a gift for Carly, possibly a scrapbook of her mother’s life over the years as a nurse.

She may have delivered what Felicia and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) cleared out of Bobbie’s office as well.

General Hospital Spoilers – Self-Defensive Maneuvers

Meanwhile, at the PCPD, Sonny is in the interrogation room and it looks like Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) may be with him.

Who else could he tell that they’ll be doing this off the books? Sonny looked dumb and surprised that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) thought he beat Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) up, like he should believe him.

Sonny’s look of shock and surprise may have been because he assumed Cyrus wouldn’t be alive to tell! That’s just another thing he’s going to have to explain and try to get covered up!
