General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates for Monday, August 5 tease belligerent blameshifting, hard questions and playing innocent!
Next On General Hospital
TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) engages in belligerent blameshifting, Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) asked some hard questions and Ava Jerome (Maura West) continues playing innocent.
Molly Lansing-Davis Seems Clueless
At GH, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) still seems clueless as she asks a nurse “what’s she doing”?
TJ had delayed calling Molly, who was at court, to tell her that Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) had been brought to the emergency room in hypovolemic shock.
Kristina is in serious condition as is her baby, having lost a lot of blood and placental abruption for the baby-having an emergency c-section to save hers and the baby’s lives.
The assumption is now that Molly knows, she’s asking what the doctor is doing to save her sister’s and the baby’s lives.
In the meantime, TJ isn’t with Molly, he’s complaining to his mother and blameshifting belligerently; Molly, on the other hand will have some hard words for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)!
Belligerent Blameshifting
In another part of the hospital, TJ is complaining to his mother Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and telling her “Whatever happened is her fault”!
Let’s hope he’s referring to Ava and not Kristina, although he could be referring to something he overheard and misconstrued it.
They likely know that Ava has been arrested and is being questioned about what happened to Kristina, and Ava is saying what happened to Kristina is all her fault!
That shouldn’t be getting out of the PCPD and to TJ’s ears to hear and repeat.
Questions For Mommy
Alison Rogers aka Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) has some questions for mommy as she asks Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) if a part of her still feels that way at all?
No doubt she’s referring to Natalia’s anti LGBTQ sentiments, in view of what happened to Blaze’s partner Kristina.
Natalia was as shocked and horrified when she realized it was Kristina who plunged through that window into the pool as anyone was especially in view of her advanced pregnancy.
Trying to be a better mom to her daughter herself, she’ll just let Blaze talk and vent if necessary, and listen.
They’re waiting at the hospital too while Kristina is in surgery for an emergency c-section to start, and there may be more internal injuries as well to repair.

Dex Heller Consoles Josslyn Jacks
In the meantime, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) talks to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) in tears, telling him about her pool rescue of Kristina.
She tells him “and that second could have made all the difference” and indeed, it could have.
She was horrified when she saw Kristina plunge into the pool, as was Trina, who was beside her, no doubt wondering if it was a suicide attempt by someone or what.
It wasn’t until Joss, on lifeguard duty jumped into the pool and turned her over in the water she recognized her, later claiming her as a sister to the EMTs.
Dex tries to console Josslyn, reassuring her she did the right things to save Kristina, and hopefully, the baby as well.

Hard Questions
At the PCPD, Trina is answering Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) questions about if she noticed anything after Kristina fell.
But the questions she’s asking herself are much harder than those she’s answering for Anna, having admitted to Josslyn she wasn’t sure if she really knew Ava!
Trina saw Ava looking out the broken window Kristina plunged from and later saw her close the curtains as well.
It’s hard for Trina to reconcile having to tell the truth of what she saw when it could send her mentor to prison. But in the end, Trina will reiterate her loyalty-it’s a very hard decision for Trina.
Playing Innocent
In the PCPD questioning room, Ava continues playing innocent-which actually, she is-as Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) questions her.
She tells him it was all just a horrible accident, what happened to Kristina-but neither he or Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) bought it.
It’s Ava’s lying about what actually happened that is making her seem guilty, like she pushed Kristina through the window; she’d have been better off telling the truth.
She staged the room and made it look like Kristina rushed her and tripped over a pair of heels in the floor near the window and tripped.
What really happened is Ava grabbed Kristina, and she backed up, tripping over John “Jagger” Cates’ (Adam J. Harrington) gym bag and fell through the window.

General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Voices His Suspicions
In the meantime, Dante is with his father at the hospital, also waiting for Kristina to come out of surgery and to see if she and the baby will be okay. Dante voices his suspicions about what really happened to Sonny.
No one can blame Sonny for his anger, but Dante reminds him to channel it appropriately.
Nevertheless, Sonny isn’t kidding when he tells Dante “they WILL pay”-presumably talking about both Ava and Jagger!
