GH Spoilers: Maxie And Spinelli Work Together To Solve The Mystery Of Jason’s Return!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has been on a roller coaster this past week.

First, he and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) shared a kiss and declared their love for one another.

But then Maxie discovered that Spinelli had been conspiring with Maxie’s mom, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) to move in to Maxie’s home in order to help her get out of a bit of financial trouble. Upset at the deceit, Maxie threw him out of her home.

Meanwhile, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) asked Spinelli to help him smoke out the person who has been trying to kill him for the last several months.

Sonny set up a fake meeting with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) at one of Selina’s warehouses. Spinelli set up cameras all over the building as well as a drome to fly overhead.

As expected, someone shot at Sonny from the roof and the drone captured the footage. Spinelli was shocked to see his best friend, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

He showed Maxie, who was just as shocked as Spinelli to see Jason who was believed to have died a couple of years ago on Cassadine Island.

Before either Maxie or Spinelli had a chance to figure out exactly what Jason’s return means and why he’s been gone so long, FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) showed up demanding the footage of Jason on the rooftop right before Sonny was almost shot.

Maxie refused to abandon Spinelli even when John followed through on his threat to arrest them both. Spinelli eventually admitted that he had a backup in order to keep Maxie out of prison.

Spinelli and Maxie have yet to talk out their issues, It’s clear that they both love each other and Maxie seems ready to forgive Spinelli for helping her under false pretenses. But Jason’s return will draw both of them into a web of intrigue and danger most likely.

And that may actually be the tipping point of bringing them back together in a romantic way. Only rime will tell but nothing seems to be standing in their way, except perhaps themselves.
