General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Maggie Fitzgerald (Heather Olt) was caught off guard when Detectives Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up in Toronto to track her down.
Dante’s familiar face dawned on her right away, but she was surprised to see he had come to find her once again, and this time closer to home.
Maggie insisted she had no involvement with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), which seemed to be correct at the time. So her appearance in Port Charles is going to stun both the PCPD and everyone who knew Esme. Is she just there for closure, or is this about something more?
When family and friends gathered to say goodbye to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), there were few who cared to stick around post-funeral to pay their respects at Esme’s gravesite.
Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) came by to relieve herself of more guilt, no one but Heather Webber (Alley Mills) was there to truly say goodbye to Esme.
Maggie might be late to the party, but her arrival could merely just be her way of seeing Esme’s name in stone, right?
If Maggie is coming to Port Charles all the way from Toronto, it stands to reason that she might make the visit count and stop to see the only remaining family Esme has left. Heather might not have known Esme for very long, but Maggie did help raise the girl.
She may feel obliged to share childhood tales and photographs of Esme with her birth mom.
Little does Maggie know, her mother is as sick and twisted as her infamous father — Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) — ever was. But will she feel empathy for Heather and fall for her act?
Maggie was hired by Esme’s adoptive parents. Although she knew about her sinister birth father, she had no information on her mother over the years.
Finding out the truth about who Esme’s mother was could have made Maggie feel that the young girl was doomed from the start. We still don’t know how Maggie’s relationship with Esme panned out.
Since they kept in communication, it’s a reasonable assumption that Maggie still cared. Will she now that Esme is gone?
Will her knowledge of Esme’s life before Port Charles — and the parents she grew up with — push Heather away, or reel her in?
Will Heather be able to convince Maggie to help her seek justice for Esme and become her newest ally against all who wronged her daughter?
