GH Spoilers: Lulu’s Bittersweet Awakening – Learns She’s Now Dying

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) has been in a coma for the past several years after being caught in an explosion at the Floating Rib.

She suffered from serious brain trauma, and it wasn’t clear if she would ever wake up. But now, because of the medication she’s been on due while comatose, she’s developed cirrhosis of the liver and is in dire need of a liver transplant or she may die.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lulu Spencer’s Friends And Family Are Rallying By Her Side

Once news of Lulu’s condition became public knowledge, her friends and family rallied around her. Her ex-husband Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) has been by Lulu’s side day and night, as has her close friend Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

Meanwhile, her mother Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has flown to Africa in order to locate Lulu’s brother Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) who may be Lulu’s only hope of survival, assuming he’s a donor match for a liver transplant.

GH Spoilers – Lulu Spencer Wakes Up!

Now that Lulu is back at General Hospital, she’s receiving the best of care. There’s every chance that having her friends and family around her will give Lulu the strength she needs to finally wake up.

What should be a joyous occasion will likely be dampened once Lulu discovers that she has not only been in a coma for several years but now she’s dying from a failing liver. It would be a terrible twist of fate for Lulu to wake up only to succumb to her illness.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lucky Spencer Will Make It Back In Time!

It seems likely that Lucky will make it back in time to save Lulu but until then she may rely on Dante. In order to keep Lulu alive, Dante may even have to tell her that he still loves her even though he’s now involved with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

Dante could save Lulu’s life by admitting he still loves her. That could throw his relationship with Sam into chaos and with rumors of Sam’s upcoming death, it could become even more tragic.
