GH Spoilers: Lucky’s Visions Of Elizabeth Spark Debate — Will He Come Home A Changed Man?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) may have had his come to Jesus moment when he was lying on the floor of a cell in Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) compound having hallucinations of Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). In some ways, Elizabeth has always grounded Lucky. At times, he needed it.

At other times, he ran away from it. It appears he knows that since his psyche-induced version of Elizabeth was reading him the riot act for running away from his family for the last ten years. Coming to, Lucky was immediately inspired to get up and get out.

He’s ready to go home to his family. But is that where he’ll stay? Just how much of an impact will the version of Elizabeth he’s kept in his head have when it contrasts with the real-life version of her waiting for him back in Port Charles?

Lucky is likely well aware now that the image of Elizabeth in his cell was a figment of his imagination, but he won’t be able to ignore how hard his psyche is clearly trying to work things out on his behalf.

As Lucky continues to run from his past, his emotional attachment to Elizabeth has a stronghold on him that may drive him home.

This tracks with similar patterns having played out between the ill-fated couple over the years. Elizabeth has always been Lucky’s safe haven. Is he finally ready to admit he screwed up and try to make it right?

Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) death was a crushing blow, followed by the crash and burn of her romance with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). But will turning Aiden Webber’s (Tristan Riggs) father away be as easy?

Diehard GH fans are on the edges of their seats hoping for a reunion between Elizabeth and Lucky that rivals their nineties-era romance. They don’t want the Lucky from ten years ago who cheated on her.

They want the guy they fell in love with as he nursed Elizabeth back to health after she was raped.

They want the guy who was interested in being a stand-in and stand-up dad for Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton), not the guy who couldn’t be bothered to be a dad to his actual son.
