Sam and Lucas share a father: the late Julian Jerome (William Devries). Julian did some terrible things before he died, including setting the bomb that left Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans) comatose for the last few years.

Lucas himself has just returned to Port Charles and has taken a position as the lead trauma surgeon at General Hospital.

General Hospital – Sam McCall Is Lulu Spencer’s Donor

As viewers know, Lulu has more issues that just the coma. Because of all the medication used to help keep her alive, her liver has begun to fail.

After an exhaustive search, Sam was revealed to be a perfect match, and she agreed to donate a portion of her liver in order to give Lulu a fighting chance at life.

Sam has insisted that it be Lucas who perform the surgery, even though they are relate and it goes against hospital policy, for good reason.

But since Sam insisted, Lucas was able to have Sam sign some consent forms that would allow him to perform his sister’s part of the transplant operation.

But it’s been revealed that Sam isn’t going survive for very much longer. It seems as though something may go wrong during the procedure or in the recovery process and Sam will pass away.

If Sam does indeed die from something that happened on the operating table, Lucas may never be able to forgive himself. Rumor has it that Sam’s death will be caused by a third party, but Lucas may not discover this fact for quite a while.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lucas Jones Turns To Brad Cooper

Lucas was once married to Brad Cooper (Perry Shen), who also recently returned to General Hospital.

Brad has done some terrible things in his past, and because of that, Lucas made it clear that he wants nothing to do with Brad if it isn’t business related. But if something happens to Sam, Lucas may turn to his ex for comfort and support.

It’s possible that Sam’s death could bring Lucas and Brad together, especially if Lucas isn’t responsible for Sam’s death in any shape or form.
