GH Spoilers: Love Triangle Brewing—Should Liz Choose Lucky Or Ric?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) could be smack dab in the middle of a love triangle soon.

She fizzled out with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) following the death of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) so we think it’s time for the head nurse to get back in the dating pool.

Apparently the writers do, too, since they appear to be setting up a triangle between Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson). Who do you think is the best love match for Liz?

Elizabeth wasted no time reconnecting with Ric, agreeing to ice cream and a walk which turned out to be more fateful than either one could have realized.

Ric and Liz saw Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) throw a gun off of the footbridge so now they’re connected in intrigue.

Ric obviously is pining for Liz, but he blew it with her in the past. Does he have what it takes this time around to be a good partner?

In the meantime, Lucky Spencer is having flashbacks of Liz while he waits to die in a dingy foreign compound. On the September 4 episode he played poker with a madman, and during that time he thought back to Liz.

The despot Sidwell (Carlo Rota) told Lucky of a woman he cannot get out of his mind, and this turned out to be Holly Sutton (Emma Samms). Lucky remembered dancing with Elizabeth and he said that he, too, had a special woman in mind.

Lucky eventually returns to Port Charles, but will it be too late to win over Elizabeth? Lucky has also made mistakes and Liz may not be willing to forget.

Elizabeth and Lucky were together far before Ric came on the scene. His situation is complicated since he is Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) brother and that brings with it a lot of baggage. Then again, Lucky’s life is rife with danger as his present predicament indicates.
