GH Spoilers: Lois Suggest Gio Become The Summer Face Of Deception

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Deception has had a difficult time finding just the right Face of Deception.

Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) fulfilled the role quite well, despite several issues with addiction and personal loss. But earlier this year, Sasha decided she didn’t feel fulfilled any longer so she resigned.

Deception execs Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) finally settled on Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) as Sasha’s replacement.

But Blaze’s tenure as Deception has been difficult to say the least. First of all, Maxie and the rest had to deal with Blaze’s overbearing mother, Natalia Ramirez (Eva Larue).

But then there was a leaked recording of Natalia not only outing her own daughter but insulting the gay community at the same time.

Blaze was devastated and she actually lost her recording contract. And while Deception won’t give up on Blaze, they have decided to put her on pause until the controversy dies down.

GH Spoilers – Deception Needs A New Face!

But Deception still needs a new Face at least for the summer months. Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) is handling the in-store and television appearances but the company still needs someone for their print ads. So look for Lois to make a bold suggestion.

Since Deception won’t give up on Blaze, they need someone completely different for a potential summer campaign.

The Face of Deception has traditionally been female, but perhaps a young man might work better until Blaze is ready to return in the fall. That way, it doesn’t seem as though Blaze is being replaced.

General Hospital Spoilers – Who Is Giovanni Palmieri?

Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) might be the answer to Deceptions PR problems. Lois may suggest that Deception launch a completely different summer campaign so Blaze will have time to regroup and the controversy around her dies out.

Gio is an accomplished violinist, so an ad campaign with him could take the company in a different direction which it desperately needs.

Gio has been spending the summer as a pool boy at the Metro Court, so taking on a modeling gig will help him pay for his schooling a lot easier. It might be a winning situation for everyone involved.
