GH Spoilers: Lois And Ned’s Argument Over Sonny Fuels the Fiery Claim That They’re Family

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) have had it out a number of times over the years, but their latest argument left some fans as confused as Ned was as to why Lois was going to bat so hard for her old pal, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Lois may love the guy, but she’s no stranger to the truth that Ned never has.

Appealing to him with a reminder that Sonny took him under his wing when he thought he was Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) didn’t seem to get her very far. But Ned’s question of why it mattered at all that he tolerated or liked Sonny was the most baffling. Yeah Lois, why does it matter?

Sonny might have been at the Q mansion to see his kids on the night that FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) was murdered on the boathouse dock, but that’s hardly the primary reason Ned isn’t his biggest fan.

Assuming he’s guilty — which he is — Ned is sounding like a bit of a broken record. No, scratch that, he sounds like his mother, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott). Never being able to just make bygones and move forward seems to be a family trait.

Not every rift is worth mending, so why does it matter to Lois so much that Ned gives Sonny some grace? Perhaps it’s because they’re all grandparents together, but a couple of them don’t know it.

GH Spoilers – Leak Lois And Sonny Corinthos Know The Truth

Small hints keep surfacing that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may have had an actual short-lived love affair many moons ago.

The timeline of events surrounding his break-up with Lulu Falconeri (Alexa Havins) and faux canoodling with Brook Lynn is murky at best, but we expect that we’re going to find out these two actually went all the way when we thought it was just for show.

If that’s the case, and that’s the secret Dante and Brook Lynn are harboring, then a secret baby she gave up for adoption might not be such a stretch.

Does Dante know about that baby? Maybe, maybe not. But it appears Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) sure don’t.

Nevertheless, why would Lois care that Ned be kind to Sonny just because their children created a child they’ll never know? Perhaps Lois thinks there’s room in the future for them to.

If that child is Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), then it makes complete sense why Lois and Sonny took him under their wing all of these years — and why he was such a secret.

Now that he’s living in the Q mansion, and his adoptive mother has long been deceased, does Lois think it might be time to tell Gio, Dante, and Brook Lynn the truth? She might want all the grandparents on her side first.
