GH Spoilers: Lane Davies Comments On His Interesting Link To Kate Mansi

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that Fergus Byrnes and Alexis Davis have an odd connection in that Alexis dated his estranged brother Neil Byrnes (Joe Flanigan), who is now dead.

Of course, he was the prosecutor looking to ensure she did not get her legal license back, and now she’s returned to square one.

Still, the portrayers also have a connection as actor Lane Davies and actress Nancy Lee Grahn played super couple Mason Capwell and Julia Wainwright in the 1980s on the soap Santa Barbara. With that being said, Nancy isn’t the only “connection” Lane has on the GH set.

:General Hospital Spoilers –  Lane Davies Has “History” With Kate Manis

During a recent chat with Soap Opera Digest (SOD), Davies notes that he has a “history”, with another GH cast member: Kate Mansi (Kristina Corinthos-Davis).

Lane states his “history” with Mansi dates back more than four decades (before she was born!) He adds this is because his link to Mansi is through her mom, Victoria Morris, almost 50 years ago.

He met Kate’s mother when he was a young actor and she was pursuing dance (she is currently a talent agent).

He tells SOD that the two met in Providence (RI), where she was working at the box office (but was a ballerina) and he was in the Trinity Square Repertory Company (acting company). The two were an item for a number of years and they even moved out to L.A. together.

Davies would go on to say that he and Morris did break up but stayed in contact even after their relationship ended. The two worked together at a theatre company in Ventura, California, so he was still around when Kate and her sister were little.

Still, he did go 30+ years without seeing Kate, until he attended a fundraiser Grahn organized in support of ALS research while the actor was in LA to shoot his short GH stint as Fergus. He notes it was “great” to see Kate, as he hadn’t seen her since she was in diapers.

As the old song goes, it really is a “small world” after all!
