General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was thrilled when Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) agreed to adopt Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay).
It was the first move made since Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) death that felt right and gave her some peace. But little does Laura know, Kevin isn’t quite himself. He meant it when he said he had little to no experience in the child-rearing department.
However, his eagerness to suddenly take on fatherhood at this stage in his life looked like an altruistic move on his part when it’s anything but. Is it possible that Kevin isn’t himself at all and instead has been overtaken by a personality all too similar to that of his sinister twin brother?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ryan Chamberlain Never Dies?
It would surprise no one to find out Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) is still alive, and it’s entirely possible.
Yes, even though Mac Scorpio (John J. York) shot him, and even though Kevin said his goodbyes to his sinister twin brother.
In fact, some fans have surmised that Kevin may have been complicit once again in maintaining the secret of his brother’s survival in an attempt to try to save him one more time.
If Ryan is locked away somewhere under Kevin’s care again, would anyone really doubt the plausibility of it?

Meanwhile, Kevin didn’t hesitate to tell Laura he was on board with adopting and raising Ace if that was what she wanted. Even looking a bit excited about all of it, Laura was gleeful when he told her how he felt.
It almost didn’t seem like it was Kevin she was talking to, and that may be because he’s feeling very much like someone else these days.
Obviously, Ryan could be alive but he’s not going to step into his brother’s shoes this time around and get away with it — not with one hand.
That doesn’t mean the trauma of Mac shooting him — coupled with Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) — couldn’t have sent Kevin spiraling to a similar dark place where his brother has always taken up residence, mentally, that is.
General Hospital Spoilers — It’s All About Ace…And Esme Prince
Ryan was always driven by the desire for revenge, and if Kevin now believes he’s just like his brother, then the people around him are in serious trouble.
Keeping himself busy on the home front so he gets time with his great-nephew will be plenty to fuel his desire to keep up this charade, and no one will be any the wiser for some time.
Ultimately, Kevin may try to go on the run with Ace, but wreaking havoc on Laura’s life and everyone else who matters to her might matter to him more if he’s gone off the deep end and believes he is his brother.
Will he risk being found out when it could cost him access to Ace and his freedom though? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to find out.
