GH Spoilers: Joss Wants To Bring Her Boyfriend Home, But Dex Is Chasing ‘Stone’

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) had tears in her eyes when Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) insisted he couldn’t ever come back to Port Charles.

Her brother’s call came at just the right time — pleading with her to find Dex and bring him home as soon as possible, but it won’t be that easy to twist Dex’s arm.

Convinced that he could put Joss and her entire family in harm’s way if he came back, Dex will reluctantly accept the assignment. But he’s not going to be keen on abandoning his current mission: chasing down every lead he can on the man who has been trying to kill Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Joss will be successful in convincing Dex to come home with her, but that doesn’t mean he’s planning to stick around.

It’ll be a nerve-wracking experience for them both — not knowing what to expect or how receptive Sonny may be to Dex helping him. Little do they realize that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will have no intention of telling him anything.

Michael was concerned at the very sight of Sonny provoking a physical altercation with an FBI agent — even if it was Jagger.

That’s not Sonny’s typical method of getting to his enemies. Witnessing that near-throwdown, Michael called in the big dogs, otherwise known as Dex.

With Dex on his way back to town with Joss, Michael will be ready to intercept at the first moment they hit solid ground.

Putting Dex up in secrecy and hoping he can somehow keep Sonny safe without letting him know he’s being protected, it’s going to be Groundhog Day in Port Charles.

Dex will have serious reservations about going behind Sonny’s back; the stakes are even higher this time around and he knows he won’t be let off easy for a second time.

This betrayal will cut deeper than the first time unless Sonny comes to realize just how deep he is in over his head and needs Michael’s and Dex’s help.

At the same time that Dex is headed to step back into the role of Sonny’s primary protector, his former protector will be lurking in the shadows ready to take him out.

Dex took his exit from Port Charles as an opportunity to hunt down the man who tried to kill his former boss.

Hoping that bringing that person to justice — of some kind — would earn back his stripes and land him in Sonny’s good graces, Dex was probably prepared to come face to face with ‘Stone’ just before Joss tracked him down.

Now, his plans have been detoured, but that doesn’t mean he’ll drop what he has learned. Will his close proximity to Sonny — the intended target — make all the difference for Dex when ‘Stone’ resurfaces? Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
