General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease Josh Kelly, who currently plays Cody Bell on GH, has bagged an exciting new role! There’s no indication he’s leaving the soap, but there’s a possibility he may not be seen as often while he films his new project.

General Hospital Spoilers – What Else Has Josh Kelly Been In?

Fans may wonder what else Josh Kelly has been in-ABC soap viewers will remember he played Alex Olanov’s (Tonja Walker) son, Cutter Wentworth, in One Life To Live.

Ironically, Amanda Setton who now plays Brook Lynn Quartermaine on GH played his sister on One Life To Live, Kimberly Andrews aka Aubrey Wentworth.

Of course, Tonja Walker played the recently killed off character Olivia Jerome on GH, her most recent appearance there having been a few years back.

Josh has a lot of experience under his belt other than playing two soap opera characters; one can see he’s got what it takes for an action film like “The Workout”.

He’s been in quite a few television shows and movies over the years, including guest appearances on programs such as “Grey’s Anatomy” and “NCIS”.

GH Spoilers – So What’s “The Workout” About?

One might think a film with a title like “The Workout” might be about bodybuilders, but it’s not.

“The Workout” centers on two army rangers who are filming a workout video, only to be interrupted by an organized crime hit that kills one of their wives.

The ranger in question then seeks to take down the mob in vengeance. For those old enough to remember, it may remind one of the old Charles Bronson movie series “Death Wish” which consisted of three theatrical films in the 1970s and 1980’s.

Josh Kelly plays Levi, and if publicity photos for the movie are current ones taken while filming, he’s gotten quite a substantial shave and haircut for the role!

General Hospital Spoilers – Also Starring—

The movie is brought to life by writer/producer James Cullen Bressack, who also has a role in the film as Glitch.

The talented cast includes Peter Jae, Kristos Andrews, Augie Duke, BJ Hendricks, David Josh Lawrence, Galadriel Stineman, and Ultimate Fighting Championship star Ashlee Evans-Smith.

Producers of the film are Bressack, Jarrett Furst, and Ben Stobber, with Mario Niccolo Messina and Valentina Cau as executive producers.

Gregori J. Martin, BJ Hendricks, and James Rundquist serve as co-executive producers. Bressack and Lawrence collaborated on the script for this exciting project; fans of the streaming soap “The Bay” will recognize the names Kristos Andrews and Gregori J. Martin.
