GH Spoilers: John Reluctantly Keeps His Deal, Jason And Carly Are Finally Free!

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that the Pikeman saga is finally coming to an end. After suspecting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for months, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gave FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington) that Anna procured from the true head of Pikeman, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

Although Jason promised to give Anna two hours of a head start so she could warn Valentin, he was only able to delay John about half that time.

Even so, it seems as though Valentin was able to take his daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) and escape just in time. And while Cates may suspect that Jason was stalling him, he can’t deny that Jason kept his end of the bargain.

Without Jason and Anna, Cates would never have known that Valentin was the real enemy. That means that Cates should keep his deal with Jason, and release him the FBI’s control. But what does that mean for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)?

GH Spoilers – Will John Cates free Carly Spencer as well?

As viewers know, the only reason that Cates was able to force Jason to work for him was because the FBI has in their possession a recording of Carly admitting to being the head of the Corinthos Organization.

Carly was forced to make that assertion when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) was believed to be dead in order to keep her family alive.

Cates pointed out to Jason that the recording could send Carly away for 20 years if she was convicted. But now that Jason has fulfilled his end of their bargain, will Cates do the same?

General Hospital Spoilers – John Cates has a soft spot for Carly Spencer

John owes Carly for potentially saving his life a few months ago when Sonny had his men beat him to within an inch of his life. Because of that and because Jason fulfilled his promise to find the head of Pikeman, Cates might just agree to destroy the recording.

That would mean that Carly would no longer have to worry about the possibility of going to prison for racketeering and she and Jason can finally get on with their lives?
