Now, Jason may have to pay the piper as Drew takes the upper hand back with Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) plans for her children.
Leaving both Emily ‘Scout’ Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) in the care of Drew should something happen to her might have seemed like a good idea before, but we have no idea whether Sam did so intentionally or not.
Now, Jason won’t be able to argue this in any quick manner, and we know Drew won’t be likely to make it any easier on him.
Jason certainly has gotten himself into a royal mess this time around. Although there is no way he could have seen this coming, we still can’t make sense of how he lost such control in the first place.
It’s not like Jason to act out in that way and lose composure, especially when he knows he could have been arrested or the kids may have witnessed his beating Drew down. It’s as though that didn’t even occur to him.
That makes us nervous for what comes next. Will he react terribly in the days following the reading of Sam’s will?
Is he bound to act out in other unpredictable ways that aren’t in line with his character? Jason is always the one pulling someone else out of a hole. Who is going to save him from himself?
Of course, Jason does have some leverage. He knows why he decked Drew, even though Drew still doesn’t.
Drew and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) still think no one knows they slept together. If Jason spilled those beans, they would know Michael probably knows and shared the news with Jason.
Thus, we expect things to stay quieter on that front. But still, Drew doesn’t want anyone to find out he even kissed Willow — which is all he thinks his brother knows. Will he be so bold as to try to retain custody of Danny even though he knows Jason could blow him out of the water?
It’s certainly not as simple as Drew complying with Jason’s wishes because he has dirt on him. Drew knows that Jason wouldn’t want to hurt Willow in that way, even if it would take Drew down.
He also knows that the leverage Jason has is only good enough to keep him out of jail. If he tells the truth about Willow and Drew, then Drew could have him arrested for assaulting him.
That wouldn’t help Jason’s custody case one bit. Meanwhile, Danny is going to be stuck in the middle of this mess when he just wants to stay wherever Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) and Scout are. Keep checking back with us for more GH news and spoilers to see how this plotline plays out.
