General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is home, but not everyone may be as excited as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was to see him. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has been particularly concerned as of late that her son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), has been acting out in ways that remind her all too much of his father.

Jason’s thrill-seeking behavior might be something he passed on to his son, genetically, but that doesn’t mean Sam is going to encourage it.

She’s hoping a healthy dose of communication and having a calmer guy like Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) around will tame Danny’s instincts, but when Jason comes back into his orbit, Dante’s influence may not have any room to compete.

Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) might relate well to Sam’s plight as she comes to realize her own son with Jason — Jake Spencer (Hudson West) — has been looking out for Danny while abandoning his own morals to save Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

Can Sam and Liz hold it down enough to let their sons re-establish relationships with Jason without both of them going off the rails?

GH Spoilers — Danny Morgan’s Dangerous Side Resurfaces

Danny has been engaging in some pretty risky behavior. First, he was caught on Valentine’s Day by the police — drunk with some fellow teenaged friends in the park.

Sam and Dante didn’t even know he had snuck out of the house, and they certainly didn’t know he was into this kind of extracurricular activity.

Dante may have signaled that Sam was getting ahead of herself by worrying that Danny will be just like Jason. After all, most youth go through this experience at some point — but 14 is awfully young.

Sam doesn’t know about Jake catching Danny with a vape just yet, but word on the street is that a reveal is coming soon.

Speaking of Jake…he’s been watchful over his little brother. Trying to keep him out of trouble will be a rather heavy lift if Danny is indeed bent on wrecking his life and acting out.

While he doesn’t seem to want attention, whatever he is seeking won’t be remedied by his father’s reappearance in his life. But Jake just might lean on Jason more to help Danny, albeit without Sam’s full awareness.

Can that possibly pan out well for Jason if she learns he knew Danny was in more trouble than she was aware of and kept it from her?

Will Jake’s big brother role overshadow whatever he’s been up to with Charlotte enough to keep the spotlight off of him?

The last time we saw Sam and Liz touch base over being the only two members of the Jason Morgan’s Baby Mama’s Club, Liz was advising Sam on the normalcy of Danny’s behavior, citing how much Jake and Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber (William Lipton) acted out at his age, too.

Little does she know, Jake has been involved in his own turmoil since getting closer to Charlotte.

While we haven’t seen much of her lately, rumor is we will soon — and she may rope Jake into a world of problems right along with her.

Could Jason’s two-year-long hiatus be attributed to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaugnessy) messing with his mind before he died, much the same way he did to Charlotte?
