GH Spoilers: Jason Is Headed Back To Port Chuck — But Will He Be As Hardened As Drew?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might be coming home, but that doesn’t mean everyone hasn’t managed to move on with life in the wake of his presumed death.

Certainly, that’s what he would have wanted. Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) found love again, as did Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) continued to move in the wrong direction with Nina Reeves Corinthos (Cynthia Watros), but Jason was never one to tell him what to do. That may have changed in his time away from home though.

We don’t know what happened to Jason, or how he has survived this long away from Port Charles, but we do know there is a decent possibility he’s coming back as someone very different from the man we love.

If Jason really succumbed to his injuries in that cave, that means he’s been potentially holed up on a Greek island belonging to the Cassadine family all of this time.

Was he snatched up by Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and held captive in secret — only for Peter to later die and take his secret with him?

Perhaps Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was at the helm of this secret? He may even still be alive. Nothing can be ruled out when it comes to life and death on GH.

GH Spoilers – Leak Britt Westbourne’ Is Dead

Jason will also have to make peace with Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death when he comes home.

It’s possible that if he’s been held against his will, he may not know she was killed by The Hook — painfully poisoned and dying in her mother’s arms just one year ago this past New Year’s Eve.

Learning of her death for the first time when he finally thought he was making his way home to her may cripple Jason in a way we haven’t seen in a long time. Could he re-emerge as more Stone Cold than ever?

General Hospital Spoilers — Drew Cain Isn’t Playing Nice

If Drew gets the sinking feeling that Jason might be interested in Carly again, he’ll have to contend with his brother over it. What a shock.

Carly fell for Jason’s twin brother, and they both fell for her! But this Drew isn’t the same Drew that Jason knew before he left for Greece and was allegedly crushed in a crumbling cave. The new Drew is edgier and looking for a fight.

He’s not backing down, and he’s not giving in — even when he’s wrong. Will Jason be the bigger person and concede, or won’t he have the chance to before Carly lets Drew know where he stands?

While we continue to debate whether Carly will want Jason back, we have to consider the fact that he may not be interested — at all.
