GH Spoilers: Jason Gives Sonny Half the Truth, And Leaves The Don Questioning His Former First Mate

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has yet to reveal to anyone what the leverage is that Federal Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) holds over his head.

Word on the street is that he won’t be making any exceptions with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Normally, Jason would divulge everything he knows to his former brother-from-another-mother, but things have changed and they both appear to sense that. Instead of going to Sonny in his time of need, Jason went to Carly Spencer (Laura Weight).

Instead of finding a way to tell Sonny what was going on for the last two years, Jason kept quiet and followed orders.

It’s going to be difficult for him to convey why he made that choice to Sonny if he’s not willing to tell him how Jagger has got him over a barrel.

General Hospital Spoilers — “I Didn’t Shoot Dante Falconeri”

Jason won’t hesitate to tell Sonny the truth — at least some of it. He didn’t shoot Dante, and he doesn’t want Sonny to think he did. In fact, he might be taken aback that Sonny would even have considered the thought, but he’s not going to judge him in his time of grieving.

That’s not Jason’s style. Still, their conversation may not go as simply as Jason’s talk with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) did, who immediately believed him when he told her he wasn’t responsible for Dante’s near-death experience.

GH Spoilers – Hint the Details Track

Furthermore, Jason hasn’t reminded anyone yet that he was actually responsible for saving Dante’s life as it hung in the balance waiting for someone to find him. But he was.

He immediately dropped to Dante’s side and began to apply pressure to his wounds, elevating his legs and head and wrapping his own sweatshirt — encased in his DNA — around Dante’s bleeding chest.

He called the paramedics — despite knowing they would be able to identify his voice on the recording — and stayed until he heard the sirens approaching.

Those details track, and Sonny may have no choice but to believe Jason didn’t shoot Dante. Still, that will leave him unsettled because he’s left not knowing who did it.

General Hospital Spoilers — Holding Back

The problem is, Sonny will leave Jason with too many questions unanswered, and he’ll be acutely aware that his former best bud isn’t delivering all that he knows. Sonny is the last person anyone should ever keep in the dark; he doesn’t handle it well.

He won’t tolerate the truth being kept from him when he knows it impacts his family and could be leaving his empire at risk as well. Why is Jason working for someone else who wants Sonny dead? Will Jason at least answer him that?

Regardless, Sonny and Jason will part ways with one of them not trusting the other — and that’s not a recipe for a good outcome ahead. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this shakes out.
