GH Spoilers: Jason Doesn’t Come Home Alone, Morgan Return Twist No One Saw Coming

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that  (Steve Burton) is set to make his return during February Sweeps. This is exciting as it is, but what if he comes back to Port Charles with another beloved character?

GH spoilers state that writers have been hinting about a Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) return for a very long while now.

As Jason’s comeback won’t be that much of a shocker, the soap could have an ace up its sleeve when it comes to surpriing fans and plot twists.

After all, it’ll be challenging to rewrite Jason back into storylines and why he’s been away for so long.

Sure, they could go with the typical “amnesia” arc, where Mr. Morgan was recovering from injuries sustained during the tunnel collapse.

They could even do what’s been done a thousand times before with a coma storyline; however, GH also could decide to blow audiences out of the water with something different.

GH Spoilers – Morgan Corinthos’s Return Changes The Game

What if Jason recovered from his injuries rather quickly and was headed home to surprise his family and friends? He may have stumbled across something that stopped him.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has accumulated many enemies over the years, so there’s always a chance that Morgan was presumed dead after his car explosion, only to have a foe of the mob boss capture the young man to keep him away from his family as a revenge tactic.

Jason may have been away all this time trying to rescue Morgan to bring him back home.
Maybe the character is recast, although it would be cool if actor Bryan Craig reprised the role.

As Steve Burton recently noted in an interview, he’s only got about “two to three” more years of soap acting in him before he retires and moves on to something else, so the show could be setting the Morgan Corinthos character to do big things.
