GH Spoilers: Jagger’s Shocking Return, Does That Mean Brenda’s Next?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington), now going by his name first name “John” recently made a shocking return to Port Charles.

He showed up at Bobbie’s Diner (formerly Kelly’s) and surprised Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) by admitting he used to work there years ago. It was only when he encountered Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in his professional capacity as the head of the FBI, that she recognized him.

When viewers were first introduced to Jagger, he was attempting to rob Kelly’s with a couple of his friends. But Jagger turned against his buddies and even took a bullet meant for Ruby Anderson (Norma Connolly).

Jagger eventually became a boxer, where he first encountered Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). To say that their relationship was difficult would be an understatement. Sonny once ordered Jagger to throw a fight, and when Jagger refused Sonny tried to have Jagger killed.

Sonny eventually relented and their relationship became even more complicated by Sonny’s friendship with Jagger’s younger brother, Stone Cares (Michael Sutton).

GH Spoilers – Jagger Cates Loved Karen Wexler But Slept With Brenda Barrett

Jagger and Karen Wexler (Marie Wilson) had a star-crossed romance and eventually married, Even though they didn’t get their happy ending, their love for one another beat most of the odds while they lived in Port Charles.

Jagger also had a sexual relationship with Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) before he finally married Karen. Sadly Karen died, and Jagger ended up on the west coast with his young son, also named “Stone”.

In his position as head of the FBI, it seems as though “John” may be back to settle a score or two with Sonny. It’s also possible that at some point off-screen, that Brenda and John found their way back to each other.

This would bring Jagger and Sonny even more at odds, since Sonny was also very much in love with Brenda.

More than ever before, it seems as though Brenda might be finally be making a grand return. It remains to be seen how Sonny will react to seeing Brenda after all this time!
