GH Spoilers: Jack Comes Through For Carly — And Jason Won’t Be Able To Stand It

General Hospital spoilers leak WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) has helped Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) in more ways than she is even aware, though we’re certain she’s going to fall hard for him once she learns what he did for her by wiping that file from the FBI’s evidentiary database.

For now, she knows he’s been in her corner, and that she would not have been able to help bring Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) home without his help.

Moreover, his timely drone strike is what ultimately saved Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) life.

Carly isn’t likely to forget that. But what comes next is going to drive a wedge between her and Jason that won’t be comfortable, though it just might shed some light on the relationship between them we’ve been missing.

General Hospital Spoilers — Jack Brennan Makes Carly Spencer’s Problem Go Away

Carly has entertained Jack’s motivations and devilish charm since his release from prison, despite that whole situation where he kidnapped her and was potentially going to kill her. He’s been in her corner every time she’s called upon him, and then some.

This time though, she’s in deep trouble having lied to the authorities about her relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Nothing would delight Jack more than to hear she’s not only not getting back together with her ex, but that she would be available to him if he could help her erase her poor decision to cover for the mob boss. Of course he’ll do what he can to help.

GH Spoilers – Claim Jason Morgan Couldn’t Do it

Normally, Jason is the guy Carly relies on for virtually anything she ever needs. One might argue that he was no longer around when she first met Jack, but he was back in the picture by the time she started relying on her WSB friend for favors — something that Jason hates.

That being said, he wouldn’t have been able to make this problem go away even if she asked him to. Jack has leverage and strings to pull within the government that Jason will never have.

Jack helping Carly weasel out of paying for lying to the authorities is one thing, but him expecting some kind of return on the other end is another.

Jason has warned that Jack will eventually come to collect, but Carly seems to suspect all he wants is her time. She’s okay with that, though we imagine Jason will not be.

Does Jack actually have ulterior motives, or is Jason’s concern with him more about how Jack is becoming a hero in Carly’s eyes the way Jason used to be?
