GH Spoilers: Is Jack Brennan’s Interest In Carly More Than Recent Flirtation?

General Hospital spoilers suggest Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) is a guardian angel in hiding, and when Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) finds out he’s looking after her, she’ll be all too intrigued to find out why. No worries.

We suspect Jack will be back around Port Charles soon enough to let her know how he feels about her, and it could throw a wrench into the plans all GH fans are hoping are in store for Carly and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

As luck would have it, Jason’s freedom from being stuck under Special Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates’ (Adam Harrington) thumb won’t necessarily mean he’s going to end up with Carly where most of us think he belongs. Could Jack tempt Carly enough to pull her attention away from her one true love?

Carly had no idea what she was doing when she decided to stop by Pentonville the first time to see Jack and ask for his advice. She certainly wasn’t planning on a repeat trip to visit the guy, but he wasn’t complaining.

For some reason, she appreciated his frankness in telling her she couldn’t trust him. At the same time, she did trust him.

Finding out he was the mystery person in her corner who cleared the FBI evidentiary database of the recording they had on her is going to make its mark on Carly’s heart.

Believing it was someone like Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was touching, but finding out a practical stranger she has engaged in nothing but flirtatious banter with is going to hit differently.

GH Spoilers – Tease Carly Spencer Could Get Wrapped Up in This Good Deed

We’ve all been on pins and needles wondering when Carly and Jason would finally have their chance to be together again since his return months ago.

With both of them at odds with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and hardly needing his permission to love each other, the only thing that seemed to be standing in their way was Jagger and the dirt he had on Carly that he was wielding over Jason’s head.

With that off the table, fans are questioning whether the stall in any romance between them could have something to do with a different love story on the horizon between Carly and Jack.

Will she get swept up in his life-saving gesture and start to look at him the same way she often looks at Jason?

General Hospital Spoilers — Jack Brennan May Have More in Mind Than Romance

Unfortunately, Jack definitely seems like the type of guy that Carly really should never have trusted. Jason may even go as far as trying to tell her that, but he could also decide to stay out of her business.

Ever the martyr, it’s not implausible that Jason will feel like he shouldn’t stand in the way of however Carly feels for someone else, no matter what he feels for her.

We can trust that Jason will keep a close eye on Jack from the moment he learns of the ledge he went out on to protect Carly from persecution and free him from Jagger at the same time.
