GH Spoilers: Is Elizabeth’s Next Stop On The Love Train With Her First Love, Lucky?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) probably doesn’t think about Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) all too much these days.

They’ve been distanced from one another long enough that they barely have a relationship. She keeps him posted on Aiden Spencer’s (Tristan Riggs) activities and development, and every now and then he heads overseas to see his father — but Lucky and Liz never cross paths.

Thus, GH fans are over the moon with the news that Jonathan Jackson is coming back to reprise this role.

We’ve been waiting a long time to see these two face to face again, and it’s finally going to happen. But what will bring Lucky back to town, and will he be the same lovable guy he always was — or has something changed?

General Hospital Spoilers — A Thing Of The Past

Lucky and Liz were “that couple” for the longest time — at least among the younger crowd. Of course, back then, even Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) were still considered a younger couple.

When they were just teens, Liz and Lucky fell hard for one another — so it only made sense that the love burn of their love fizzled on and off over the years, ultimating culminating in him fathered her youngest child.

That being said, Lucky could come back to town with a completely different idea of how he’ll be spending his time, and Liz is still reeling from her break-up with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). So, is this the time for them to rekindle something?

Of course this is the time! When else? We haven’t seen the guy in nearly a decade, which means Liz hasn’t either!

Will it be like no time has passed when he shows up at the GH nurses’ desk and takes her breath away?

What’s next? Is Zander Smith (Chad Brannon) coming back from the dead a la Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) style, too? Will Lucky and Liz fall into old patterns and get swept up in nostalgia, or is there still something more there?
