GH Spoilers: Hottest Storyline Of The Week – The Funeral

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that it was a sad week for many Port Charles residents. As viewers know, Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) was in an altercation with Ava Jerome (Maura West) a few days ago.

Things between the two of them became very intense and when Ava tried to grab Kristina’s arm, Kristina recoiled and then tripped. Losing her balance, Kristina crashed through Ava’s window in the Metro Court and fell three stories into the pool below.

General Hospital Spoilers – Kristina Corinthos-Davis lost the baby.

Kristina was 8 months pregnant at the time of the accident and both mother and daughter were at risk. While Kristina survived, the baby did not.

Although Kristina was acting as a surrogate for her sister Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and her partner TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow), Kristina had decided to keep the baby herself even though Molly and TJ were not aware of Kristina’s plans. So the loss of the baby, a little girl, devastated everyone involved.

In the days following the accident, Molly began to blame Kristina for what happened to the baby. She and TJ both reasoned that if Kristina hadn’t gone Ava’s hotel room in the first place, then the accident would never have happened. They finally settled on naming the baby Irene.

Meanwhile, Kristina had planned to name the baby Adela, after Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Bernard) mother. Right before the funeral, Molly also discovered paperwork that Kristina had drawn up to keep the baby herself.

Molly grew more and more annoyed at Kristina’s behavior during the funeral service. But things came to a head at the grave site when Molly overheard Kristina call the baby “Adela”.

Not being able to stand it anymore, Molly lashed out at both Kristina and their mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Both Molly and Kristina said terrible things to each other and vowed never to forgive each other. It seems the drama is just beginning for this family.

Whether or not Molly and Kristina can ever come together again is doubtful. And now that other people like Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) have gotten involved, things will only grow more complicated.
