GH Spoilers: Hottest Storyline Of The Previous Week – Carly Torches John Cates

General Hospital spoilers tease that July is really heating things up in Port Charles. Ava Jerome (Maura West) continues to weave her web of deceit and has even found an ally and potential lover in John Cates (Adam Harrington).

Meanwhile Blaze aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) tried to do damage control by appearing on The Perez Hilton Show. And across town, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzym) prepared to say goodbye to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) once again.

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Has Had Enough

As the week began, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) thought that Jason was finally out from under the FBI’s control. Jason planned to take Danny on a fun day trip but that’s when everything began to fall apart.

Cates showed up and demanded to speak to Jason alone. Cates wasn’t satisfied with Jason’s takedown of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and demanded he leave immediate on a new mission. Once Carly found out, she decided to take matters into her own hands.

Carly wanted to turn herself in for the criminal conspiracy charges that Cates was using to control Jason. But Jason talked her out of it, or so he thought.

By the time Carly arrived at the Metro Court, she was furious. She had John’s things packed up and taken down to the lobby. She then changed his key card, effectively evicting him from her hotel.

When Cates came down to the lobby, he and Carly had a showdown witnessed by half of Port Charles, including Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy).

General Hospital Spoilers – Carly Spencer Dared John Cates To Arrest Her!

Finally past her breaking point, Carly screamed at Cates to arrest her and he did! Carly was taken down to the station and booked for criminal conspiracy and various RICOH Violations.

Jason was able to stick around now that Cates has no more leverage on him. And Sonny paid Carly a visit at the PCPD where she finally told him why Jason was working with FBI all this time! Sonny left to do something about Cates once and for all.

Finally, a worried Carly asked Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) to find Sonny before he does something he will regret!
