GH Spoilers: Hottest Storyline Of The Past Week

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that as May sweeps begin to wind down, the mood changed from a celebratory one to a much more somber one.

Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) witnessed her father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) threaten to kill both Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

Meanwhile, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) finally had her day in court as she tries to get her law license back. Finally, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) confronted Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) about his stabbing at Pentonville!

General Hospital Spoilers – Gregory Chase Officiated The wedding Of Harrison Chase And Brook Lynn Quartermaine!

As viewers know, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) officiated at the wedding of his son Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). Gregory was struggling with stemming from ALS, which caused him to freeze as the ceremony started.

Thanks to Tracy Quartermain (Jane Elliot), Gregory regained his composure and completed the ceremony. Gregory and his family had a great night at the reception but eventually it was time for the party to end.

Gregory and his other son Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) headed home with Finn’s young daughter Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love).

GH Spoilers – Emotions Ran High Between Gregory Chase And Hamilton Finn

Once they got home, Gregory wanted to go to bed. But not before having a nice conversation with Violet, who went to bed first. That left father and son alone to have a much needed talk. Both Gregory and Finn decided to put away any animosity they had in the past.

Gregory told Finn that he was proud of the man Finn had become. For his part, Finn said that his father was best father he could have possibly have had and that he loved him.

With that, Finn helped a weakened Gregory to bed. Gregory saw his life flash before his eyes and with only a slight twitch he passed away in the middle of the night.

General Hospital Spoilers – Gregory Chase’s Death Hit Port Charles hard!

Finn discovered Gregory’s body shortly after dropping off Violet for school the next morning. He struggled, and failed, not to take a drink.

Soon Violet returned home and Finn broke the news of her grandfather’s death. It wasn’t long before Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) showed up and confronted Finn about his drinking.

Finn threw Elizabeth out but soon Chase and Brook Lynn showed up. Brook Lynn took Violet for a walk as Chase helped Finn dump out the alcohol and look for an AA meeting to attend.

Whether that’s the end of Finn’s drinking remains to be seen. But Gregory’s death will have a lasting impact on everyone who loved him for quite a while.
